Our model "Marie" in this oil painting is viewed in a relaxed sitting posture from the side. The choice of black and white oil paint has been done in a fashion as if "Marie" was wearing a veil which is dropping down over her front face and body. - This artwork, again, has been done in an experimental fashion with regard to the paper: Instead of normal artist's paper, I used an old advertisement brochure with small printed information on it. So in a few parts of the painting, the brochure print shines through - which gives it particular appeal. This painting will look perfect in a Passepartout frame.
