And he continued to stick to that habit, wherever he travelled to visit other countries' leaders. Nobody and nowhere, except upon Selenskyj's visit to the Whitehouse in February 2025, did he encounter criticism or questioning. Among other attacks during that Whitehouse encounter with President Trump, Selenskyj was asked, by some press deputy, "Why don't you wear a suit". Ever since, transforming what appeared as a slap in the face into a mighty sword, the world pays tribute to Ukraine's leader in its most troubling era since WWII as "The Man Without A Suit". And what about that journalist asking that question? Well, I suspect he was not very well educated. Could it be, that he hadn't learned about Selenskyy's biography, and the founding of the party "Servant of the People"?
