This artwork is part of my Acts Series, which I have been taken up now for years, at least once a year. For my acts, I always engage a model to which the art work is tribute. This time it is 'Janna'. The specialty of my acts: They are never "just body", they are always personalities, with heads, faces, arms, hands if not also feet... This uniqueness distinguishes my artwork from what is often seen (and taught!) today in "drawing classes", and links it up to the grand masters of act paintings of the 19th and 20th centuries. Imagine a Manet, Picasso or Schiele "without a head"...!
